Grace is a third-year PhD student in the Industrial-Organizational program working with Dr. Bart Craig. Her research interests focus on leadership, organizational justice, creativity, and organizational development, with the mindset of making the workplace the best place it can be for the employees. When not immersed in schoolwork and research, she enjoys reading, cooking, and hiking with her dog Rocky.

Rachel first graduated from NCSU in 2016 with a BS in Chemical Engineering and a BA in International Studies. Time working as an automation engineer uncovered a passion for understanding humans’ role in autonomous systems. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Human Factors at NCSU in the LACELab with a particular interest in safety in automation, human-robot collaboration, and attention during complex tasks.

Christina is a 2nd year Ph.D. student in the Lifespan Developmental program. Prior to attending NC State, she earned an B.A. in psychology with a minor in biology from the University of Virginia. She then went on to earn an M.S. in experimental psychology from the College of William & Mary. She is currently studying under Dr. Kelly Lynn Mulvey in the Early Social Development Lab. She’s interested in how children make judgements regarding rule breaking and, in particular, how children judge differing advantages and disadvantages that come about from both rule breaking and rules that promote inequality in the first place. She enjoys reading (71 books read in 2021 so hit her up for recommendations!) and spending quality time with her two adorable & goofy black cats named Sugar & Spice.

Dylan is a third-year Human Factors and Applied Cognition Ph.D. student working with Dr. Yingchen He in the Translational Vision Research Lab. He earned his bachelors degrees in Psychology and Women’s & Gender Studies. His research focuses on accessibility of the internet for visually impaired individuals. All his spare time is taken up by his 2-year-old Bedlington Terrier puppy, Louis.

Khalaeb graduated from NC State University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2020, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Human Factors and Applied Cognition. He is interested in tailoring training and technology to individuals, and his research primarily centers around diminished reality (DR).

Ian is a fourth year PhD. student in the Industrial-Organizational Psychology program. Prior to attending NCSU, he earned his undergraduate degree at The George Washington University. His current work forks into three areas of research: counter-terrorism, human-technology interaction, and destructive leadership. His favorite hobbies include pen-making, fire-breathing, and surrealist digital photography.
